What is Ops Navigator?+
Ops Navigator is an operations platform that turns how a business runs into step-by-step SOPs, guides people through them, and records proof that they were followed.
You capture a process by recording it in the browser, uploading a document or describing it; AI structures it into SOP steps for review; and you deliver it as onboarding journeys, checklists, doc sites and in-app guidance, with compliance scores and analytics on top.
Who is Ops Navigator for?+
Ops Navigator is built for franchise networks and multi-location operators, and for any team that runs on repeatable process.
That includes HR and people ops, IT and help desk, customer success and customer education, operations and training teams, and education groups.
Is there a free plan?+
Yes — you can start on the free plan with self-serve setup.
Viewer seats are free and unlimited. Paid plans for growing teams and franchise networks are available on request: write to hello@caprics.tech.
How long does setup take?+
Self-serve setup takes a few minutes: create your account, verify your email, name your workspace and invite your team.
You can upload your first handbook or record your first process straight away.
Do I have to rewrite our existing documents?+
No — upload what you have and the AI breaks it into step-by-step SOPs for you to review and approve.
It reads PDF (including tables), Word (.docx and .doc), Markdown, HTML, text, images with OCR and ZIP files. Each step carries a confidence score and links back to the place in the source it came from.
How is Ops Navigator different from capture tools like Tango, Scribe or Guidde?+
Ops Navigator includes workflow capture, and it also covers what happens after the guide is written: AI-structured SOPs under version control, onboarding journeys, checklists with photo and GPS proof, branded doc sites, in-app guidance and compliance scoring, in one workspace.
If you mainly need quick step-by-step guides, a capture tool may be all you need. If people also have to follow, acknowledge and prove a process across teams or locations, that is what Ops Navigator is built for.
Does it work inside apps we don’t own?+
Yes — the Ops Navigator browser extension shows in-app guidance and the copilot inside third-party web apps you don’t control.
The extension runs on Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari and can be rolled out by MDM or group policy. For apps you own, you can embed a snippet instead.
Can AI assistants like ChatGPT or Claude read our docs?+
Yes — each doc site can run its own MCP server, so AI assistants and agents such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor can search the docs you publish there.
Access uses scoped tokens, you choose which sections are exposed, and anonymous access is optional.
Will the copilot act without asking?+
No — AutoPlay only runs when both your organisation and the user have opted in, and it shows its plan before anything happens.
It can only run flows your team has published, never auto-submits a destructive step, and confirms every step on the first three runs of any automation. Every action is logged.
Does it work for franchise and multi-location teams?+
Yes — franchisors run franchisees as child workspaces and can pay for them, handing down seats, entitlements and AI credits.
Doc-site sections can be syndicated to franchisees as Locked, Editable, Hidden or Acknowledgement-required, checklists collect photo and GPS proof at each location, and compliance scores roll up per franchisee with mean, p50 and p90.
Can it match our brand?+
Yes — doc sites carry your branding, theme and custom domain, and in-app guidance uses themes you set per experience, app or workspace.
PDF, HTML and Markdown exports can carry your branding and a watermark.
